Last Updated: May 5, 2026 RADIO HISTORY: On desktop, tablets, mobile computers/phones and depending on your screen, if you scroll you may see the former Las Vegas Public Radio Inc./KIOF 97.9 FM Vice President in the above image with his back to the camera outside the downtown studio on June 12, 2021. He passed away on September 23, 2022 due to complete heartache and stress he experienced when dealing with the Corporation for Public Broadcasting from 2016-2020 and the U.S. Small Business Administration by early 2022 as well as many others in the State of Nevada while building the public broadcasting station for the tri-state area in preparation for it's larger station of what was supposed to be Las Vegas Public Radio Inc./KIOF 90.1 FM in southern Nevada. A proper burial is planned for the U.S. Navy Veteran, Senior, Teacher and Father at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, Nevada. If you would like to help with the burial plans, please send us a message here in the Las Vegas Public Radio division at Portsonic Communications (Nevada). |
