On January 20, 2025, Las Vegas Public Radio and KIOF closed it's doors and shutdown as a public broadcaster/PBS affiliate due to the NPR & PBS grift (swindling) that occured from 2016-2025 because NPR did not want the "Las Vegas Public Radio" brand on the airwaves in southern Nevada as seen in numerous documents released to the public for inspection at FCC Facility ID: 190166 and 766038.

Pending the outcome of the $9.4 Billion Rescision Bill to clawback $1.1 Billion in public broadcasting funds at the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) that passed the U.S. Congress on June 12, 2025 and making it's way to the U.S. Senate, all plans to rebuild the public broadcaster as an independent public broadcaster (with no NPR or PBS affiliation) run by an all new U.S. Veterans board has been placed on hold until the U.S. Senate vote and onward to President Trump to codify into law. It is unknown what the state of the former Las Vegas Public Radio's President & CEO unilateral filing of a FY26 Radio Community Service Grant (Radio CSG) application and full waiver (for the first time since 2019) is at this time to build KIOF back with a $5.288 Million grant from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) because of the NPR & PBS grift (swindle) and bias. BB & Pulley & Harrison and others at the CPB forgot that "Daddy" had a tower site to fully divest before they were killing him along with Nevada Department of Education staffers and it's Nevada Board of Education Superintendent by September 23, 2022 shortly before he was working on the Emergency Alert System (EAS) for KIOF on September 4, 2022.

That's when Daddy punched the steel doors at the North Las Vegas tower site and ripped the steel signage off those steel doors over his anger of why the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) and Nevada Department of Education was discriminating against the organization and a public broadcaster based on those 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 denials at the CPB because he fucking had it with these biased Ivy Legaue bastards and biased racist fuck faces (in his own words). As Daddy was passing at the Mountain View Hospital on September 23, 2022, station staff were working with the former Las Vegas Public Radio President & CEO to try and get the station back on the air because Daddy saw these bastards abusing their power trying to bankrupt the Las Vegas Public Radio President & CEO (he was personally paying station bills himself to try and keep the public broadcaster on the airwaves for the community to enjoy for as long as possible) because NPR did not want the Las Vegas Public Radio brand name on the airwaves. KIOF never went back on their air and Nevada Department of Education officials continued to deny support to the organization 3 weeks later after Daddy's death. These are all the people that caused the death of your dad, Greg while serving his community as a U.S. Navy Veteran (Honorably Discharged) - a combination of Bush "Tea Party" Holdovers with their Clinton pals validated by 3rd Party companies and forced you to shut the public broadcaster down by January 20, 2025.
