Restoration of the former Las Vegas Public Radio Inc./KIOF is coming in 2 stages for the every day listener to understand:

Stage 1:  The rollout of the pre-alpha Portsonic Radio devices for use with the Las Vegas Public Radio interactive radio service on the Portsonic Radio platform. The platform is the commercial side operations of the former public broadcaster and is exclusive to Portsonic Radio devices only. Listen to the Las Vegas Public Radio interactive radio service here on the Portsonic Radio platform as several companies are working to bring the brand into 46+ countries based on their peek listeners from 2016-2025 on the upcoming American made Portsonic Radio devices. Stage 1 is expected to be completed by the end of FY26 or early FY27.

Stage 2:  The return back to FM radio with the Las Vegas Public Radio HD Channel. The platform is the noncommercial side operations of Portsonic Radio being built for resilience and stability. A planned worldwide tour and launch using the Las Vegas Public Radio brand to put the upcoming American made Portsonic Radio devices into traveler hands will continue expanding the tri-state area's travel and tourism industry. Everything old becomes new again as they say. Trial design, simulation and testing is being done for the Las Vegas Public Radio HD Channel implementation in Arizona and Texas outside of the Las Vegas market and southern Nevada on a exclusive marketing campaign being put together. Stage 2 which is expected to be completed by the end of FY26 or early FY27 but could be sooner.
