LAS VEGAS (PORTSONIC) - On May 1, 2025, President Trump signed an Executive Order entitled, "Ending Tax Payer Subsidation Of Biased Media". This Executive Order states:

"Section 1. Purpose. National Public Radio (NPR) and the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) receive taxpayer funds through the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB). Unlike in 1967, when the CPB was established, today the media landscape is filled with abundant, diverse, and innovative news options. Government funding of news media in this environment is not only outdated and unnecessary but corrosive to the appearance of journalistic independence."
"At the very least, Americans have the right to expect that if their tax dollars fund public broadcasting at all, they fund only fair, accurate, unbiased, and nonpartisan news coverage. No media outlet has a constitutional right to taxpayer subsidies, and the Government is entitled to determine which categories of activities to subsidize. The CPB's governing statute reflects principles of impartiality: the CPB may not "contribute to or otherwise support any political party." 47 U.S.C. 396(f)(3); see also id. 396(e)(2)."
"The CPB fails to abide by these principles to the extent it subsidizes NPR and PBS. Which viewpoints NPR and PBS promote does not matter. What does matter is that neither entity presents a fair, accurate, or unbiased portrayal of current events to taxpaying citizens."

We dived deeper into the word "grift" and looked it up on various online websites. The results were typically the same... "engage in petty or small-scale swindling" and "a petty or small-scale swindle". We dove even deeper into the word "swindle" and looked it up on various websites. The resuults were typically the same... "to obtain money or property by fraud or deceit" or "to take money or property from by fraud or deceit", It's kind of funny how the scam/sham PBS grant programs are setup to selectively serve the same organizations annually, most of those organizations in business for 40+ years still taking tax payer money. But, when new entrants come into the programs based on their valuations in markets to compete with those organizations in business for 40+ years, it's "Deny, Deny, Deny" when it comes to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting's Radio Community Service Grant (Radio CSG) Programs for 501(c)3 non-profits operating non-commercial/non-commercial "educational" NCE stations. Federal law paints an entirely different picture in the Communications Act of 1934 - read on...
It's so strange that the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) licenses hundreds of these non-commercial/non-commercial "educational" NCE stations during "bullshit filing windows every few years built on control" which, under the Telecommunications Act of 1934 in SEC. 393. [47 U.S.C. 393] CRITERIA FOR APPROVAL AND EXPENDITURES BY SECRETARY OF COMMERCE. (c) Of the sums appropriated pursuant to section 391 for any fiscal year, a substantial amount shall be available for the expansion and development of noncommercial radio broadcast station facilities. Very few organizations, if any, ever see any federal funds as applied for and mandated by federal law for years and years by these institutions whether it's a standard non-profit entity or a 501(c)3 federal non profit entity.
No one ever sees any federal tax payer dollars through direct or indirect channels either through various federal agencies, other than maybe the "breadcrumbs" as the former Public Broadcaster/PBS affiliate exposed when it was looking to air shows like "The War Room with Steve Bannon", "The Charlie Kirk Show" and "Alex Jones InfoWars" on it's previously licensed terrestrial stations before being forced out of business by January 20, 2025 due to bad actors spread across the federal and state bureacracy. It seems like there is no room to air center to right side generated programming on the traditional non-commercial/non-commercial "educational" NCE stations any more so a new commercial Public Radio Service (CPRS) will need to be created to support center to right side generated programming in the new areas of the FM band being developed by commercial companies.
It's amusing to us here on the Las Vegas Public Radio CPRS that the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution states, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.".
Except Congress does make laws abridging the press because the Public Broadcasting Act of 1967 was only setup to support the non-profit entities around the nation through serving only those who are licensed by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) as non-commercial/non-commercial "educational" NCE stations but they left out commercial public broadcasting stations and services or those wishing to transition from being non-commercial/non-commercial "educational" stations to commercial public broadcasting radio and services. It also let's agencies Congress created to pick and chose the "broadcasters" it wishes to grant fund annually using our federal tax payer dollars.
Basically, if one side of public broadcasting doesn't work for the public broadcaster/PBS affiliate as a non-commercial/non-commercial "educational" station because politics are played in the industry within these so called "agencies" to be serving, "We, The People", those agencies just to end up destorying the broadcaster they are supposed to be serving. There is no pivot ability for that broadcaster to transition their station to the new commercial public broadcasting radio and services (CPRS) platform to exit the politics through the biases seen by these "legacy" institutions/agencies being kept on life support by the tax payers.
Portsonic Communications, LLC will be filing a Radio Commercial Services Grant (Radio CSG) single page application with the Corporation For Public Broadcasting (CPB) as part of the Las Vegas Public Radio brand becoming the nation's first former Public Broadcaster/PBS affiliate to the Commercial Public Radio Service (CPRS) transition. Project 2025 calls for the orderly wind down of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting as we all knew it along with the Department of Education being dismantled as Big Bird gets punched in the face during this transition from non-commercial/non-commercial "educational" NCE stations migrating as 501(c)3 based non-profits (because the IRS is being dismantled to make way for the ERS or External Revenue Service) to commercial entities - a one time cash out of annual denied Public Broadcaster/PBS affiliate stations by the CPB from 2016-2024 should be given the opportunity to access remaining tax payer funds to complete their transitions through the orderly wind down of the CPB, DOE and IRS from the grift and swindling.
The Trump Administration simply mandates a 1 page application entitled the Radio Commercial Services Grant (Radio CSG) which rides along side the exsiting Radio Community Service Grant (Radio CSG - built on layers of bullshit over 50+ years when the former Public Broadcaster/PBS affiliate stopped applying to it by 2020) for those stations completing the transitions under Project 2025 for FY25 so shows like "The War Room with Steve Bannon", "The Charlie Kirk Show" and "Alex Jones InfoWars" can be aired on the CPRS.
