CARSON CITY (LVPR) - Back in November 2020, Governor Sisolak told state agencies to prepare for upcoming budget cuts of 12 percent (12%) for each of the next two fiscal years. In all, each state agency will be cut by 24 percent (24%) by 2022 and it is very possible these budget cuts could continue after 2022 where state agencies could see additional budget cuts of 12 percent (12%) for the following two fiscal years into 2024 where state agencies are cut to 48 percent (48%) by 2024.
